The man you see here was losing hope for the future. He believed that no one cared about him as a person. He believed no one cared enough to sit with him and listen to him. And no one cared about what would happen to him in the future. He said, " No one loves me." We let him know that not only does Jesus Christ love him, but we love him and care. He was smiling after speaking with him for a while.

This woman was so happy. Not only for the snacks, but also for sharing laughs with her. She showed us her home made out of boxes, paper and towels. Her spirit was amazing. We laughed and laughed about, even though things are not what we want them to be right now. We could still share a laugh with someone that understands.

We wanted to start giving food to the homeless. It was a huge success. They enjoyed their snacks and water. My daughter and I had a blast. Our volunteer for the day, enjoyed herself tremendously. Sierra, my volunteer, was also the photographer. We were surprised how many people allowed us to take their pictures.

According to the Center of Disease Control ( CDC). As of 2010. Suicides were the 10th leading cause of death for all ages, with an average of 105 per day. Suicide attempts are significantly higher among young adults aged 18-29 years, than they are among adults aged 30 and older. Among ages 15-24 years old, suicide accounts for 20% of all deaths annually. Females ages 45-54 years old have a suicide attempt rate of 9 persons for every 100,000. Females are more likely to have suicidal thoughts. And poisonings is the most common at a rate of 37.4%. Males ages 75 years…
